Nicola has 20 years of experience as trader and manager in the energy sector. He studied at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, where he accomplished a Master in Risk Management in 2004. Before founding Sirius Energy SA, worked for Duferco as Foreign Exchange Risk Controller in 2004. In 2006 he moved to Dufenergy to set up the Power Trading Desk that during the years became DXT Commodities. During his career, as Energy Trader and Head of the Power Trading, he achieved consistent track records of results and extensive experience in energy trading. His main areas of expertise includes: Analytical Trading on Power, Gas and Emissions, Team Leadership and Management, Long Term PPA structuring and Renewable Origination.
